I need this infromation for a debate. I need argue taht the United States Government should immediatly pledge full humanitarian assistance to the people fo teh Democratic Republic of Congo.

I have found a lot of infromation on this topic, including details on the conflict there, but have not found anything saying how much it would cost to help the 38,000 people dying each month mostly from treatable diseases.

Americans seem to think it is a very friendly city Other Canadians go on about how cold the people are here .....Odd point to make but it comes up a lot.
