Ok folks i have been reading these boards for a few days now and find myself sickened by certain attitudes displayed on here.Now i will ask you this simple question.
When will people learn to accept that people are people and not defined by race colour or religion?
Yes there are bigots in all the different areas of government,religion and region but why do you feel the need to follow thier lead? Its as if you are sheep.
Racism is not big and its not clever.Its the sign of a closed mind.
Its time folk learnt to open thiers.Do you agree with this?

USA has nuclear weapons then why not North Korea? I bet if a country such as Canada or Israel they wouldn't say thing but in contrary they would even give /sell them uranium/plutonium and knowledge.?

Now for the last week ,I"ve read all the back and forth about how
Bush is an idiot, and Cheney is a criminal sociopath. I've also seen the constant bickering about the Liberal Democrats ruining
our country if they are elected. Hell, I've even participated a little.

The main difference between me and a lot of you, is that I don't
give ANYBODY a free ride if I can say NO before they're elected.

No matter how we got into Iraq, we're there now. We're not going to get our Troops out for a long time to come. It's not an easy
thing to do, but we MUST get our boys and girls out of there as quickly as possible with a stable Iraq left behind to deal with its own problems.

So let's hear your best ideas about how to get our Troops back home to deal with our other problems, like the Border or N.K.

Cute stuff like "Go nuk-yu-ler" or "Impeach Bush" won't cut it....

Identity theft is a felony.Why is it that when an illegal uses your identity they are not charged accordingly? Instead, there are certain people that will say "Awww, poor illegals, they just want a better life." (By the way, I hope that these peoples identities are stolen and that they have to deal with the problem firsthand)

According to this article found om MSNBC news site, Democrats have decided to target the personal lives of Republicans.

"It is attack and distract," said Maureen Donovan, a spokeswoman for GOP Rep. John E.Sweeney.

Former Republican National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie said Democrats are dangerously close "to overreaching" in their attacks, risking a political backlash like the one that damaged Republicans after they pushed for the impeachment of President Bill Clinton over the Monica S. Lewinsky scandal in 1998. Democratic operatives said they are aware of this possibility but are calculating that, as long as the attacks are at the local level, they will not backfire.

I have read this entire article and this is the most juvenile attempt to win votes that I have seen to this date. Does this mean that Dems can't argue the issues, so they have to dazzle voters with gossip, innuendo, and half-truths instead of logical debate?

I am trying to decide what type of lawyer to be but I am having trouble. All of a sudden the ideas I have had in the past 5 years seem too idealistic. I want to help out...make a difference...fight injustice. But a job with the ACLU for example pays around 60,000 a year. On the other side of the spectrum a job with corporation pays over 100,000 but I find it meaningless. Does anyone have any ideas on how to reconcile the two and obtain a job that pays good money but also makes a difference?

County welfare-fraud unit, he was told by a colleague that thousands of Mexican
citizens were crossing into Southern California to collect U.S. benefits.
Disbelieving but curious, he drove to the Chula Vista welfare office about
seven miles from the Mexican border and noticed that many of the cars in the
parking lot bore Mexican license plates.

Fluent in Spanish, Sossaman talked with the owner of one car, who confirmed
that his wife was inside applying for welfare using a fictitious San Diego
address. His friends and relatives in Mexico were already drawing checks. It
was easy, they'd boasted, because welfare caseworkers verified neither
eligibility nor citizenship.

When Sossaman confronted a co-worker with what he had witnessed, the man
shrugged."It' s been this way for years,' he said, " It's our dirty little
secret."

I know few people in my neighbourhood from Eastern Europe (Russians & Romanians) of very suspecious characters. I don't see them going to work, yet they have money. I know names of some of them & i want to know if i could call some birou & find out ,using their names.
