Why is it a felony for another person to steal your identity, but not an illegal?

Identity theft is a felony.Why is it that when an illegal uses your identity they are not charged accordingly? Instead, there are certain people that will say "Awww, poor illegals, they just want a better life." (By the way, I hope that these peoples identities are stolen and that they have to deal with the problem firsthand)
Can anybody explain why this is?

That's because we have corrupt politicians who think 'they know best' and are more or less in collusion with each other to give Mexico an unquestioning free pass into the country...maybe if they showed a little more integrity and leadership on the issue, there'd be more penalties against the whole business...my personal theory is, ID theft has become high science in Mexico...

Id like to know that one myself.I imagine that we"ll never get a answer because we already know the real answer.The government gives illegals preferred status.They get preferred treatment to certain jobs,(like after Katrina hit in a few months white contractors were driven out so that illegals could take the jobs) and the list goes on and on.As long as the politicians get kickbacks from big corporations they will continue to be biased.It's just a small taste of the crap we"ll have to deal with if every last illegal isn't tossed back across the border where he belongs.

Bush and Big Business wants to open up the boarders from Panama to Canada. So they can make more money at the Americans expense.

Americans standard of living will be reduced to poverty levels. Then the government will steal their land and wrecklessly use Americas natural resources.

The illegal aliens are a tool, cheap labor, disposable humans, human capital that are going to help them achieve their goal.

Creating chaos is all fine and well in a foreign country in time of war, but not in your own country against your own people.

The government and big business have become a living breathing animal that must be controlled before it destroys us.

Wow, I wasn't aware of that. That's not fair at all. You must have been pretty upset to catch a felony arrest and know some illegal immigrant got a slap on the wrist. Guess I haven't been too concerned about identity theft since my information and credit file is so screwed up that nobody would get far trying to gain from it. But now you know better right?

Because you have a lot of bleeding hearts out there. Veronica she said Illegals NOT ILLEGAL MEXICANS are we being self conscious are what? The 19 terrorist all or most all got here legally but over stayed or were out of status. They had Id's that is why we should all say no to giving Driver License or Id's to Illegal Aliens.

Very good question. I don't know the answer, other than I feel that it is part of the fact that the government is in collusion with big business to allow illegals here for cheap labor.

They know it's not okay, notice so far the only pro-illegal to answer this question was Veronica, and she didn't really answer it anyway. I guess it must be okay as long as it is not themsleves. When you steal someone's ID it is morally wrong and a criminal act, and eventualy what goes around WILL come around.

mexicans arent the only ones illegal in this country, dont forget the asians, africans, british and all the iraquis who are bombing this country.......Look at all the middle easterns that have had fake id's to get into the U.S to bomb the world trade center, pentagon, etc.....I never said poor illegals when I found out what they did.

you can not prosecute a immigrant whether legal or illegal, only deport them.
