USA has nuclear weapons then why not North Korea? I bet if a country such as Canada or Israel they wouldn't say thing but in contrary they would even give /sell them uranium/plutonium and knowledge.?

I dont see any reason that any country needs weapons of mass destruction. Why is killing people so important why not just kill the leaders of those countries that use there power to destroy any that dont agree with them. Let the people who want the Wars fight them them selves and see how long the war last then and what kind of weapons they will use on each other. Again America gave Israel nucular weapons and has been supplying them with arms since day one and our tax money

Because the U.S. has learned from its mistakes. Isn't that what is supposed to happen? When most of those tests were going on it was to gain knowledge. But we have learned what can happen and haven't had a test since 1992. , Were talking about a country who could and maybe would pass this technolology and/or weapons to terrorist groups, etc. We are involved in treaties around the world to wind down the proliferation of these weapons and many countries in this world are involved with that. Kim Jong ll and his government shows this to be more important to him than feeding his starving people. He needs to do anything to show he can be trusted. A lot of not very knowledgable people answered here negatively against the U.S. not realizing that the United States use of these weapons in Japan (61 years ago)saved many, many more lives than would have been lost attacking Japan on the ground. Lives on both sides.
