it's a nice even number....like 100. It's divisible by 10, as are most even numbers.
i wonder how 300 million compares to the actual count of population in america.

cuz "americans" killed most of the native americans. Most of the poeple who live in america aren't native americans. They are decendent of foreighners.
Another reason i can think of is that your economy would be crippled if it wasn't for the foreigners who come there to make a living and do jobs that you don't like doing.
Not to mention half the men in america are in other countries fighting illegal wars and the refugees come to america for protection! ha ha

Geesh... so were most of our ancestors..... The only ones that were here when our families got here were the indians... so I guess we are all foreigners too. At least to them.

mark. you are wrong. they deplete our economy and get afforded more than citizens of this country. i am not against foreigners i just wish they started off as dirt poor as the citizens that are currently here.

Duh, bet your family came from somewhere else. 300 million citizens of the USA, mine came from Germany and England, and were considered foreigners too, in 1795.
