What cheep food can I give to my crickets that I'm trying to breed. I need something nutritious for the cricket AND the frogs and anoles who are going to eat them, but I need it to be cheep. Is cat food an option?

No answers from inexperienced ones. I'd like some one who's breed crickets before, to answer this. Thanks!

looking for an adult iguana for a pet

And I gave it a large enclosure (around 8 feet by 4 feet) and I gave it all the things it has in the wild in its habitat...would it be able to live happily

I mean, if the thing is kept is a rather large habitat, is kept away from danger, will always have proper healthy food, and won't risk getting hit by a car, wouldn't it be happy

I would like a box turtle, but my dad wont let me buy one, only if I find one....I think this is dumb because you shouldn't keep wild animals....but like i said, if it is kept the way i described, wouldn't it be just like its in the wild?

Im thinking of getting a box turtle, but don't want to spend $100s on the tank

Is it ok to just use one of those really big plastic tubs as long as it has proper heating, that would make it easier for me, and the turtle could have a bigger enclosure

Is this a good Idea, or am I just being cheap

On Monday, when I put crickets in his cage, he jumped off his branch and could not use one of his back legs. He was dragging it. When he went for a cricket he fell over and then gave up and went to his basking branch. I soaked him for an hour in warm water after that, and he did not pass a bowel movement. The next morning, however, when I looked in the cage there was indeed a fresh poo, so I assumed it was a mild case of impaction and that it passed. Well, he was still kind of wobbly after that, so I bought some sweet potato baby food and pedialyte, and fed him a mixture of the two with a dropper. He ate it fast, and then passed another kind of loose BM. I then tried with collard greens/crickets yesterday. He ate the greens voraciously, and then as soon as he ate two crickets, he couldn't walk well with his back legs and returned to his branch. I bought more baby food/pedialyte today, gave him gatorade to drink, but he still vibrates when I touch his tail/back legs, whats wrong?

I'm interested in keeping leopard geckos, but i can't find much info on what they are like. What do they act like? And do they do anything before nightfall? Are they easy to get bored of?

Thanx

My mom left her pet turtle with me and I don't know when she will be back. I know I have to change the water at least every 2 days, and feed it the food that she left there. BUT what else does it like? Because recently I've been thinking that it's not really into it's food. So please help. Thank you for your answers.

I have a pair of baby red ear sliders, they play all day and eat well. I bought a feeding suppliment to help them want to eat. They eat almost anything you puty in the ater. They seem to be hungry all the time. I saw somebody say they are beggers and I know mine sure are. But my main question is I have heard turtles are loners. When I bought my babies earlier this month, they have been together ever since birth they do everything together they even bask together. Should I worry that my turtles go against the grain and get along well and play together and bask together?
