I have two red ear sliders since 9 months ago, I believe they are 1 year old by now. From last weak the smaller one seems to be sleepy most of the time, she hides her head beneath the stone I have put in their bowl and when she is not under that stone she just closes her eyes and no move, but at times she seems normal. what's wrong with her? what shall I do for them?

I have a 10 gallon tank and the filter is SUPER strong. One of my chores today was to clean the tank and my finger got stuck onto the filter. I was thinking about buying a turtle and keep it in that tank, but I'm afraid that the turtle will get stuck too. Also, (there isn't an easy way to explain this) my tank was a waterfall (hehe) I hope you know what I mean. The filter sucks the water and it comes out of this hole. Ok, whatever, I really hope you get the picture.

I just got a leopard gecko it has spots. It is just getting used to its new cage so it is very scared. It is a female and is a baby. I want a name that is creative,but not wierd. It cannot be something like Spot that is too common. I really need someones help. THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

ok i put an airstone in their which cleared up the film on the top of the water but now i see these little tiny white things that are jumping around close to the sides of the tank. so i took the turtles out because of these things. what are they and how do i get rid of them? will they hurt my turtles if i put them back in?

i have a 75 gallon quarium with 6 frogs in it. i had two cascade filters on it but it was alwalys so cloudy i could barely see the frogs. i went out and bought a $200 canister filter last week....it is still so cloudy i cant see hardly anything. i feed them once a day and i feed them bloodworms and shrimp.
i would really appreciate any help.

Ollie,
Bazil,
Rocky,
Spike
and Spike and Rocky combined to
create Spock.
But, Im just not feeling any of them lol.Plus
most of them are male names.

I have a 10 gallon tank and 2 very tiny RES turtles. My tank has a very strong filter and I'm afraid that when they swim around, they will suddenly get stuck in the filter. Also my tank has a basking spot, light, and clean water. It has deep water too. Am I doing everything right? If not, can you tell e what I'm missing too? Also answer the question about the strong filter please. Thank you!

I have two rather small (probaly baby) Red Eared Slider turtles. They are in a 20 gallon aquarium made especially for turles. They have a filter, and a floating basking rock. When I got them, they were in a tiny little box..and were only being fed these rather nasty looking pellets. They swim around, and dont seem to be too unhappy at this point in time, but they wont seem to eat. I have tried lettuce, natural aquatic turtle food(pellets) and Turtle Treats which is like I believe Krill. I have never had a turtle before, and I am concerned about them not eating. I leave the food in the aquarium, and in the water to soften for 1 hour, and there is no response. Someone please help me.

their about an inch and half long and totally refuse to eat. i drop a few pellets in and they act like its not even right in front of their face. i leave them by my window every day so they get tons of sun, clean their water about every 2 or 3 days and they still wont eat. ive tried feeding them carrots and lettuce too. whats up?

my 2 month old corn snake goes in between the little rail thing on the tank and the screen he isn't stuck but i dont think he can get down i take him out of his cage about twice a day and my boyfriend holds him to why does he keep doing that

Quick background; when i bought her she was under weight very shy had mites and still had skin covering her eyes. so i took her to a vet and had her treated for the mites and checked for anyrthing else. I did my best in caring for her so now she is perfectly fine.

when i bought her she was a very shy eater and would strike at any food items i put in her cage. This happend for about a month. so i decided to give her small food items like a single mouse. she took it so the next week i gave her three and she tore em up.

After that meal she has been basking a lot. more than the usaul snake would after a meal. She will stay under the light almost all day. even at night she curls up directly under the night light. i find this to be a little odd. Do your ball pythons have a tendency to bask all day?

my cats are jumping on top of the corn snakes cage. is that going to stress my snake out? If i put my snake in my bedroom instead of the living room with the light on will he be okay? Is there something i can do to keep my cats away from the cage? i try to keep them off but they keep doing it when i am holding the snake they don't seem to interested please help they are really annoying me.

I recently adopted this bearded dragon and she has a large lump on her back. From her size, I predict she's around 8-10 yrs old. While I don't want to see her suffer, she is old and I'm not really sure how much time she has left.
