Im getting an Iguana and cant build its cage yet, But i have a 55 G tank for it

Most baby Igunanas are pretty small. It all depends on exactly how big it is. If it's only a few inches in lenght than yes a 55 will be good for a little while.
You have to think, they need more verticall room than horizontal. A 55 gallon tank is long but not tall at all. If you can get a small planted tree that you can set up in a room in the house where it will be safe and let the Igunana climb on that once a day untill you can give it a proper cage.

Temporarily. They do like to be up high. Just make sure you have a temperature gradient--basking heat and UVB at one end and cooler at the other end. Have a bowl of water big enough to soak in. Lots of fake plants to hide in. NO loose substrate on the bottom--too much of an impaction risk. Check out these sites for complete care info:
