Could you describe exactly what you are seeing with your snake? Snakes don't have a ball and socket type joint in their jaws, the bottom jaw is attached through ligaments to the rear part of the skull. Snakes can develop mouth infections that will make their mouths look mis-aligned.

does he even try to "yawn" after he eats?
thats how they re-align their jaws. try not to feed him large mice, as this might cause a problem. general rule is, the mouse should be about the size of your snake's middle part of the belly(width!). if it is larger, he can have problems chewing it, especially if he is young.if he doesnt re-align his jaws in a day or so, take him to the vet have him evaluated. the vet can usually get him back to normal, as this is usually a minor problem.
