What offspring could i expect if bred a male classic motley corn with a female normal corn? As far as i'm aware, both snakes' ancestry is pure. Can i expect all normals (i have a feeling that normal pattern is dominant while motley is recessive) or will i get all motleys, or some of each?

i acquired a royal python today, the poor thing looks like he has burnt his entire belly, the previous owner didn't do anything to help and it got worse and worse, the snake has not eaten for nearly 6 months, i was wondering if any body could suggest a solution i have been told to force feed him a rodent, and also use tomodine (like iodine) twice daily on his belly also to peel off the scabs, is this correct or can any one offer another solution, thk you

I have a baby wood turtle. He's about 4-5 inches and I got him 4 days ago (thursday) and he's not eating anything. I tried giving him lettuce, turtle food and then carrots. It's been four days -i found him in the woods- and I'm getting really worried. I don't want him die, I'm really scared for him. I called a few pet smart's and they said he might like insects ( he lived in the woods) or it might be that he is stressed out. How do I make him less stressed out and what do I give him that he will definately eat? Please Please help.

i just got them yesterday and i moved them into a bigger tank. i put little rocks down and some water so there are dry and wet patches in there. they were moving when i put them in there and i checked on them last nigth and they were both tucked into their shells and one buried itself under a few little pebbles under some water? the other is right near it and they havent moved since last night....dead or alive?

What kinds of different foods can aquatic turtles eat? Such as raw meat, bugs ( what kinds), veggies, etc. I have five: 3 red eared sliders, a stinkpot, and a mud.

Also: How long does it take a turtle egg to hatch? And how do you care for it before then? Do you have to constantly watch it and care for the egg? Or can you leave it for a day or two?
