What kinds of different foods can aquatic turtles eat? Such as raw meat, bugs ( what kinds), veggies, etc. I have five: 3 red eared sliders, a stinkpot, and a mud.

Also: How long does it take a turtle egg to hatch? And how do you care for it before then? Do you have to constantly watch it and care for the egg? Or can you leave it for a day or two?

Very young aquatic turtles are more meat eaters than veggie eaters. Adults like the veggies more. We feed the floating food sticks or pellets that you get at the pet store, but we also feed them worms, occasionally, all types of lettuce, fruits and greens. Do not feed Iceberg lettuce or spinich. You can also put feeder goldfish in with young turtles, but most adults won't eat them. As for hatching eggs, it alll depends on the temperature and humidity. Also the eggs can not be turned like bird eggs are, and must be not laid in the water or any wet area. I would go to your local petshop and get an inexpensive book or to the library. I know that the eggs are not easy to hatch.
