Yep...

I did that with mine, and fed him once every two weeks or so.

I feed my 3 yr old three pinkies until he finishes my supply. When I have to go get him more food, I'll pick a larger size.

Corn Snake Hatchling

This is an alright method of feeding (two items at the same time). When I need to feed a snake that takes small rats, but of of rats, I will feed two adult mice simultaneously. Also if it is too much for the snake, the snake will not eat both, except with TX rat snakes, I've seen them eat until they regurgitate.
the power feeding method recommended by some involves feeding a larger feed every few days, a rough comparison would be power lifting, large amounts, low quantity, short rest, this will get the snake growing quick. It all comes down to personal preference.
My snakes that are too small for rats, I feed two mice. If I must leave my snakes alone for a while, I may feed them twice their usual amount, if they'll take it. You'll just have to experiment and go with works best for you.

Baby corn snakes have an extremely fast metabolism and feeding them often is okay. Kathy Love is the biggest breeder of corn snakes in the world. In her book, she says it's perfectly fine to feed a baby one pinky every three days. I will believe her before I'll believe the people here on Yahoo answers. And as far as frequent feedings shortening a snake's lifespan, there still is no scientific data to confirm this. I personally know three herpetologists and another biologist, and they'll all tell you the same thing.

If he does not eat for a long time, he will die. My aunt in law raises snakes and we got two of her corn snake hatchlings when they were old enough to eat pinkies. When they were newborn, my aunt would cut pieces off of the pinky and feed it to the snake. The food might just be too big. You will have to open its' jaws and force feed it. They ususally rub when they are going to shed. Is your snake old enough to shed? Snakes will usually not eat when they are going to shed. Does he look dull in the eyes? If he is going to shed, don't worry about him not eating. Just feed him as soon as he is done shedding. When was the last time he ate?

I follow this plan I got from expert breeders on http://cornsnakes.com. An excellent forum!
The Munson Plan (Sample Feeding Chart)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

-When they're on single pinks (2-3g), I feed every 4-5 days. (Snake = 4-15g)
-Double pinks (3g x 2) every 4-5 days. (Snake = 16-23g)
-Small fuzzies (5-7g) every 5-6 days. (Snake = 24-30g)
-Regular fuzzies (7-9g) every 5-6 days (Snake = 30-50g)
-Hoppers (9-12g) every 5-6 days (Snake = 51-90g)
-Weaned (14-20g) every 7 days (Snake = 91-170g)
-Adult (24-30g) every 7-x days (Snake = 170+)
-Jumbo Adults (40-50g) every 7-x days (Snake = 400g+)

Note: Adult females are fed more frequently than adult males (especially following brumation). Females are fed every 6-8 days; males are fed every 7-14 days.

This is by no means scientific, and not all corns will cooperate 100% with the schedule. The weight ranges I gave for the prey and snakes are approximate. I'm very consistent in my feedings. Some people feed every Saturday, for example. If they get a refusal, the snake has to wait for the next Saturday to get another shot. I don't do this. If a snake refuses today, he'll get another shot in two days.

Feed only once a week so the snake isn't spending all its time digesting (feeding every 3-4 days or more often is known as powerfeeding and drastically reduces the snake's lifespan - they take 48 hours to digest and should be given some relief after this time). Feed two pinkies at the one sitting if the snake can take them, or perhaps move up to a fuzzy if the corn can take it as these are more nutritious.

The prey should leave a large lump in the snake that is visible for at least 24 hours after feeding. If one pinkie is leaving a noticeable bump then it's enough. If not, bump it up to two or go for a fuzzy.

Hope that helps.

its best if you only feed them once a week while they are small..once they get bigger they might eat 2 mice a week. MY baby corn snakes eat 1 pinky every week and my older corn snakes eat 2 mice every week.

its best to feed them one at a time. no sooner than 1 day between feedings. if it will only eat one a week, then feed it one a week. If it will eat one everyother day, then feed it everyother day. I would start getting it used to feeding it frozen/thawed prey items. Mice/rats can kill a snake or cause life threatenning injuries. Basically though, feed it when its hungry. If it turns its nose up at whatever you put in there. then it's not hungry. dont leave live mice in the enclosure because their feces and urine will carry disease and harm your snake. good luck
