I have a Western Fence Lizard, (a.k.a Blue Belly Lizard). He/she is about 2 months old. It seemed to be having a seizure early. It was taking a nap, and when it woke up, its started twitching all over for a few minutes, then stopped.

Low blood calcium levels will cause twitching and seizures. The term used is tetany and it is easily fatal. Young reptiles are really prone to it, they require more frequent addition of calcium to the diet. If you have not been supplementing the insects with calcium and vitamin D3 then you really need to correct that quickly.

Yes, imbalance of calcium is a major problem. Also, make sure you check out some care sheets for heat/lighting requirements.

Poor thing. It definately sounds like it may have a calcium deficiency.
