#1 That would be the iguana's dewlaps.

#2 What you've mentioned should be good. Some pet stores sell iguana pellets, which are fine. Mustard greens, collard greens, dandelion, and arugula are all iguana fodder, if they're available to you. Do NOT feed animal protein...small amounts can be tolerated, but too much will poison the animal.

The things on the throat is called a dewlap. And you can also go to the pet store and buy iguana food just make sure you keep feeding it the fresh veggies and fruits.
They can eat apples and pretty much any fruit and veggie. Good Luck

Would that be the dewlap?

Foods you can feed your iguana are:collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, turnip greens, escarole, watercress, and endive.Other greens should be avoided or used only minimally as an occasional treat, because they contain nothing but water and cellulose and have virtually no food value. This includes nearly all of the lettuces, such as iceberg head lettuce, romaine, redleaf and greenleaf.green string beans, yellow wax beans, peas, yellow and orange squash, asparagus, sweet potato and yam, parsnips, carrots and okra.

Some vegetables, such as brussel sprouts, cauliflower, beets and broccoli, are high in oxalates and can cause calcium-binding. A few other vegetables, including cucumbers, bell peppers, mushrooms, and zucchini, are rather low in food value and should not be a staple of the diet. These can be added as occasional treats.Grain products, such as cooked pasta, rice, and whole-grain bread, are good as occasional treats

#2 Dandelions (cleaned in case of pesticides), broccoli (limit the amount though), Kale, squash, spinach, little banana, strawberries ( as treat occassionaly), mustard and collard greens. Lettuce is mostly worthless except for water content so feed it sparingly or use better quality lettuce like Romaine.
