-shrugs- They can bite pretty hard. No serious damage done though. When they're aggressive/scared, they puff up their bodies in order to look as big and frightening as possible.
To show the difference, here's some pictures. These first are relaxed, content beardies:

These next ones are beardies in their natural "don't mess with me" mode:

If you get them from the right breeder, they can be the most tame and wonderful pets.

Geez, the asylum must have let all the residents have internet time last night. I've never seen so many non-sense answers here in the Reptile section. Anyway, you should never keep two dragons together. Dragons live in solitude in the wild, only coming together to mate. They see another dragon in their enclosure as an intruder and this causes a lot of stress. Stress can cause a reptile's health to decline rapidly. A common sign of dominance that will cause stress is basking and sleeping on top of each other. Classic signs of stress include not eating, sleeping a lot, and finally, one will grow while the other remains small. Eventually, they will fight, resulting in a severely injured dragon or a dead dragon. It may not happen this week, or this month, or this year, but it WILL happen. And a 10g is too small even for one dragon. With a basking temp of 100-110 and a cool side of 80, it is impossible to get that kind of temp gradient in a tank that small. But you're the same one who asked about a 100g aren't you, so that won't be an issue. Still, only put one dragon in that tank, even though it is 100, unless you divide the tank so that they each have their own home with their own heat and UVB and can't see each other.

A bearded dragon's defenses technices are, puffing out its beard, flattening thier body, hissing, and they may threaten to bite.
And their fighting techniques are biting or scratching.

I had a roommate once who's bearded dragon's "beard" area would turn gray/black when it got scared/angry. I never saw it bite, or attack though, just jump out of their hands and try to run away.

They have the potential to bite but seldom do. They are known for their gentle natures. Their main defense is puffing up and their spines can be a little sharp when trying to hold onto a wiggly one that does not want to be held! :)

Finding one that does bite is rare. They may also puff themselves up or flatten themselves out if you try to pick them up when they are upset and the spines on their sides can hurt when they stick you. It is somewhat painful when they do bite. He got bit while trying to separate his pair of beardies.

a beardies defense is puffing out his "beard"...it will turn dark and he may hiss...this is a warning. they will bite, only after the warning...but it is very uncommon in a well cared for pet beardie..i have one and he is great!
