Stopped eating,acts lifeless,won't flare at you or play with me,is he sick or just a change in his personality or demeanor due to age.He is 5 years old and i've raised him from a baby and has never been sick or acted this way

He might be. Have his stool checked to see what his parasite level is at the moment. If all checks out well, he may be beginning to brumate--winter hibernation for many reptiles. Has his UVB bulb been changed? It should be every 6 months as it loses potency. Heat at around 100F? No loose substrate to cause impactions--can happen at anytime even if they've been on it for years! Check out the health page at this site for detailed info:

most bearded dragons as they grow tend to become vegeterians with age, if his appetite or streghth isn't there like he is sick he might need some product called electrodize from exo terra. good luck!

I would suggest you take him to the vet, they are susceptible to many viruses. It is worth it not to lose your pet.
