Wild belong in the wild........I sound like a broken record here.

Did you find it? What kind of turtle is it? Some are aquatic, some are semi-aquatic and some are land....

It really depends on the species as different turtles have different needs. If you purchased this turtle and were serious about its needs you would have known this already....
