I'm interested in keeping leopard geckos, but i can't find much info on what they are like. What do they act like? And do they do anything before nightfall? Are they easy to get bored of?

Leopard geckos do not like light so during the day they try to find a dark place to sleep. You will more likely see them at night trying to hunt for food. I would recommend a night glow bulb as feeding time can be entertaining for these creatures. It is easy to get bored with them if you are expecting to be able to hold them all the time. Leopards should only be held for around 5 minutes a day once or twice a week as too much handling will stress them out and can lead to health problems.

My little sister has a leopard gecko. There alright pets.. They don't do very much. They kinda just sit there. There not like hamsters.. they don't have wheels or anything cool like that. They kinda just sit there unless you take them out of the cage.. But I personally do not find them that exciting.

No i have a juvie leopard gecko and they are so much fun are low maintenance!!
I feed mine after school like around 4 or 5 and if his hungry omg he will come out of his cave and look at me letting me know that his hungry!!! and if i dont repond he will make faces nd movement to distract me nd to get my attention!!!!! also if i have no homework while hi inside d cage i call his name nd look @ him nd he'll look @ mee nd come out!!!! Leos are the best pets!!! good luck

I would say they are interesting, but not entertaining. Young ones are more active and eat a lot more. An adult will sleep all day and wander around a bit at night. You can use a red or blue light at night to watch him.

They're good pets but they are nocturnal so they eat at nihgt, you won't see them doing anything during the day but sleep, and when you're sleeping they're active or at least awake, so it depends if you like an animal that sleeps when you're awake!!!!

Yes they sleep all day. It has to be what suits your lifestyle.
