Adult iguanas are the most common reptile given up to reptile rescue facilities. Your local pet store or animal shelter may be able to put you in touch with one of these near you. Your animal shelter likely gets calls to take them in as well. You could leave your name with them.

Look for an Iguana Rescue Organization. I have fostered several Iguanas over the years for the Humane Society. There should be web sites online to help you find the Iguana you want. Good Luck...

we just adopted an adult male iguana from a reptile humane society, he is a great guy, & they shipped him to us for a fee. http://www.corhs.org/?gclid=CPO5m_y9lo0CFRlmWAodcV865w
as long as you have the time, & effort to put toward an iguana, this is an excellent place to look, you would also be doing them a favor, giving a loving home to an iguana in need.
hope you find one!!!

Adopting is the best option if your looking for an adult.
