I live in Northern VA and have two eastern box turtles in my backyard. It's been 50-65 degrees everyday for the past couple of weeks but it's been around 35-45 degrees every night, but has been around freezing at night a couple of times.

I'm building a custom bearded dragon cage. It's gonna be two parts one for the male and one for the female. It's gonna be 48 L x 24 W x 20 H. Is that a good size? I mean it's gonna be stackable so I thought it be easier to watch them. Have a plexy glass opening with a lock just encase my nephew comes over and wants to play with them. Have a day and night switch. And make a rock wall to make it look like the desert for them. I just want to know if that is a good size. Becuase I have three dragons. 2 males and one female. I wanted to make a 4 section cage. Each cage 24 L x 24 W x 20 H for each cage. So what is better the individual cage or the long sex seperation cage?

I bought a RES from the pet store a couple days ago, and from what I can't tell he is not eating his turtle pellets. I don't want him to get sick. His tank is at about 76 and he has a basking area and light. I don't know what else to do.

I have a huge problem. my turtles have started to hybernate but I don't have any heater to warm them up! I am in a very small place in hong kong that doesn't care for animals as much but I love my turtles

It is a female areund 3 years old and not pregnant? She ate less and less over a a period or a few weeks and now when I offer food she dosen't touch it. I haven't changed her diet or water temprature.

Okay, two years ago, I sneaked a desert tortoise from Mexico—His name is TACO and his doing great. BUT, I live in California so, its illegal to have a desert tortoise as a pet. I heard that you can get a license to own a desert tortoise. How do I do that? And should I tell them that I already have a tortoise? Would they take him away? Please, I need help I really feel like I should do more then feeding it and giving him a warm shelter and looking after him. I want to take him to a vet. So, they can check him out...but I’m scared that they might take him away from me...
