My son has a pet Armadillo Lizard, and he wants to get another lizard to live in the same habitat, but it has been a task trying to find another one of these Armadillo Lizard's locally. What other lizard can he get that will get along with his current pet?

Thanks

This is a serious question so serious answers please...
I would really like to keep a lizard, skink, gecko, something like that. However I hate dealing with crickets and things as they get absolutely everywhere. Are there any lizards which either don't eat meat, or which can eat dried / dead food? And are also readily available in the pet trade? I already have snakes and they eat pre-killed food, so I wondered if lizards can do the same. I really like bearded dragons and occellated skinks, can they eat dead food? Also, if lizards won't take to dead food because there's no movement, can they be tricked to think its alive? ie. if you flicked the dead cricket to make it jump etc? Sounds silly lol but I'm curious.

Thanks!

I am out of state until Sunday. My 18 yr old is relaying my Beardie's problems to me. My Beardie who is 4 months young, has runny, pinkish color in his stools. Also, just not acting himself. His cage is aprox 90 degrees or more during the day.
The UV light has been flickering. I told my Son to get a newer fixture and speak to someone at Petsmart. Although the fixture is new.
I do feel my Son overfed him while I was gone. He used all the crickets I left. In 5 days at least 400 crickets. That is what was supposed to be in the box.
I baby him when I take care of him. He seems to know me. Does he miss me? Do Beardies actually know things like that?
Does anyone know what could be wrong with Charlie?
thank you in advance

OK well i just bought a Central American Red-Tail Boa from the local
pet store. its not to bigid say maybe a foot and a half or maybe
more. i got it for $45 if that even matters but right now i only
have it in a 8 gallon tank. it seems plenty big enough i mean he
dosent seemed cramped and can move fairly easy. I used just bark off
the tree and a little branch for it to climb on. i have a piece of
bark set so it can hide from the light. and a water dish. i got
regular sand from the pet store for the bottom of the tank and the
light is a 30 watt daylight heat lamp from ESU Reptiles it says its
meant for reptiles. and thats all thats heating the cage right now.
also the cage is in the window seal so sunlight can hit it. the
light i got is one that sits on the screen and lights it like that.
thats pretty much how i have my snake set up for now. If anyone has
any suggestions on how to make the cage better or anything i
shouldnt be doing plz tell me.

I was just curious to see how big people's captive iguanas actually get. I was doing research for pictures of people's iguanas and none of them even compare to mine at the age he is. Mine's name is Louie, he turned four in September, he's 6 feet long and weighs in at about 17 pounds. Also, I've read about the orange on their arms meaning it's breeding season. Mine has orange all year around and I'm pretty sure he's not in breeding season 365 days out of the year because he's very docile a majority of the time. He's my boy. Anyways, can any of you compare?

I'm getting a children's python soon, and i was wondering if people here have experience with them. I wanted to know what you use for a substrate, and what you've done with the tanks. Thanks guys!

In reply to my previous question the tank is at a constant temperatue of 25 degrees with the use of a daylight bulb and water heater. Both used on thermostats and timers.

If it is possible that she could be pregnant is there anything else to look out for?
