My son has a pet Armadillo Lizard, and he wants to get another lizard to live in the same habitat, but it has been a task trying to find another one of these Armadillo Lizard's locally. What other lizard can he get that will get along with his current pet?

Thanks

I have tried, but since these lizards one give birth to one at a time( and not in an egg, how many reptiles do that?) it is hard to find one or someone that is willing to part with one.
Any suggestion on where i can find another Armadillo Lizard

Armadillo lizard is not a lizard that is found commonly in the pet trade, Thse are wonderful animals that come from south africa and live in large social groups. The best way would be to find your local reptile society and see of any of the members were breeding any or know of any breeders.
I would not mix them with other species.

I have to agree with not mixing another species. There is always the possibility of cross-contamination of different bacterias and parsites the other may have no defense against. Spoil the one you have...:-)

For your information, An Armadillo is NOT a Lizard.....
Turn your sons Armadillo loose back in the wilds... Unless you are totally knowledgeable , as a zoo might be, the poor creature is going to die...
Besides that, it is very possible that keeping an Armadillo in captivity is probably illegal...
