I have had a Chilean Rose for 6 years, and have fed her at random for six years. About every 2 or 3 days I would take a cricket and feed her. She usually eats, and has gone several weeks without eating. She has molted a few times, without a specific pattern to the time between molts etc. About 1 year ago she slowed down her eating, hardcore. I responded by feeding her less often since, she would practically let crickets die in her habitat, before even trying to give them the time of day. My question stems from the concern that my spider may not be getting a steady feeding schedule, or regimen of food. I would like to get some info on, other people's feeding schedules, if any.

Over the past couple of days one of my newts has ballooned up to almost twice his size and looks quite disfigured. Does anyone know what is wrong with him or what I can do to help make it better?

My slider is 9 yrs old, has eaten varied diet but when recently lost appetite, we got a new lamp, a more powerful water heater and it was recommended to try live fish. Sheldon loves the fish, seems healthy now and eats goldfish with extreme enthusiasm and now refuses to eat anything else. Shall I stop with the fish and only offer other things? This turtle LOVES the fish, but I want to ensure a varied diet. Advice welcome.

I have tried to keep them as healthy as I can. I make sure that there heat is between 72 & 75, there humidity is above 80. I keep there crabitat clean from poopies and make sure they get fresh food (veggies, fruit, fish, chicken, beef, melons, berrys, ect). I serve it to then on a shell so they get there calcuim. I am just so upset that they are slowly dieing. I have lost two know and I believe that I will be loosing another really soon. The first one started shedding its leggs ( until they where all off) so I changes the sub to eco earth instead of then sand. Then the next one stared to hide alot and I thought that it was weird so I kept my eye on it and it stayed in the same postion for about 8hrs( just sitting out of its shell like it was going to go some where) when I touched it it didnt go back in its shell do I looked at it and went into it shell. Then I found it getting water, 3hrs later thats there he died. Now one is doing same, Help please its breaking my heart!

I have a gecko and my sister has a cornsnake. Cornsnakes arent venomus and it is only about a foot long and not very thick i guess you can say. My gecko is a full grown 8 inches with teeth, claws and speed. Snakes would try to constrict and I dont think it would be able to.
I would root for my gecko. But i would never make them fight. Don't worry!
