No she will not lay any eggs. Unlike humans ball pythons do not have their period on a timed basis. A male will breed the female then she will ovulate her eggs to meet the sperm. If the sperm die before they meet they egg, both egg and sperm are reabsorbed into the body. The only way she will lay eggs is if she is bred by a male ball python.
BTW, ball pythons are great beginner snakes, and I would be surprised if the average ball owner would know the answer to this question.

Yes, she can lay eggs without a male (just like human females do every month.) You don't WANT her to, however. There would be no point. Without a male to fertilize the eggs, they'll be infertile....dead...they won't contain anything. But laying them can cause calcium and other mineral deficiencies in the female.

Please start with a more basic snake, and please read up on their care before even getting one. Almost every health problem I see in my herp patients relates to inadequate husbandry.

Although most magazines contain poor advice, one that is really good (assuming you stick to the articles and ignore the ads) is the monthly Reptiles magazine. Most BooksAMillions carry them. They also put out an excellent yearly issue called Reptiles USA Annual edition, which contains good summaries for keeping some of the more popular herps as pets.

yes. I think ball pythons are good snakes for beginners but you should not want her to lay eggs all the time fertile or not it can starve her body of calcium. trust me you don't want a snake with deficiencies it's a lot of work to get them healthy again! Besides that you sound like you don't know very much about them so before you go getting a Snake you need to do a little research on them like looking up ball python care!!!
