Either one will do. Their temperament depends on the animal itself, not the sex. If you plan on breeding in the future get a female. Also remember that female ball pythons get bigger than the males.

I have had 2, both females. Next one I get will be male. The females are a bit on the aggressive side.
Now that I think about it, not much difference between female ball pythons & humans...lol!

properly neither burmese or ball pythons eat different snakes so i could say you wouldnt ought to issue approximately one ingesting the different, yet if you consider that they don't look to be even a similar species and does not be to mutually for breeding they might desire to not be in a similar cage. no snakes must be saved mutually except for breeding they might get under pressure out and bps are regularly occurring for going off feeding inspite of suitable care. why upload greater rigidity ? and a ninety gallon won't be able to final long for a burm except you dont feed it. they might enhance from a hatchling to 10 feet in a 300 and sixty 5 days. burms are actually not for beginner keepers they get enormous and could be aggressive. i dont comprehend how long ya have saved snakes or what ones you have saved yet i could advise you dont leap into getting a burm, or any super constrictor and a toddler burm will would desire to eat a toddler rat trouble-free and could be waiting to eat rabbits. my 13 foot ninety pounder eats sixteen super to jumbo rats or 10 pound rabbit

Male. The females get a little wierd when they're alone for a long time. Males adjust better.

Any snake can be dangers and python are just as dangers as any snake. Where i live a boy had one and he thought he know all about them and read books on them and that snake one day decided to wrap him self around him and almost killed him by squeezing him to death.
