I have 2 leopard geckos the male can be held for a few min. before he gets to irritated. My female doesn't like to be held at all. Plus geckos have sensitive skin.

A bearded dragon would probably be ur best bet. Get one while its young they r more tameable when there young. (that goes for most animals) If u look online usually you can find a site that will tell u if the lizard can be handled a lot.

As ive said in another post of yours... i rescue them all and own plenty of them...

I believe it all depends on you. How old are you? Are you a student? work a lot? how much at you home? How much time do you have to devote?

My two faves are beardies and leopard geckos ( leos)

Leopard geckos require being fed, having their food dusted with the appropriate vitamins/calcium, belly heat ( heat pad) particular lighting, and humid hides that require care. They have to have their humidity monitored as they get sick from too much...They can be kept pretty confortably in a 20 Long tank for their whole lives although mine are all custom and much larger. They are solitary and prefer to live alone.

Beardies require insects and veggies/fruits, both dusted with differant vitamins/minerals. No humid hide, but they need an active UVA/UVB source and baths. They also need misted and must have a higher heat and a bigger cage. 65 gallons minimum for a full grown, unless you get a rankins which costs a bit more.

Anything else.. let me know

hmmm... tough question... Mali Uromastyx and blue tongues are awesome.... If you want a pet that you can handle a lot and has a ton of personality, definitely go with the blue tongue... They are about as personable as you can get, and while they're a bit more expensive they're pretty good beginner lizards.

If your not a beginner and have the room, I recommend an iguana. With a lot of care and knowing the facts, they are the best reptiles to own that aren't nocturnal and you can handle them all the time. When taken care of properly, their intelligence really shows. If you're a beginner, Then I recommend the bearded dragon.

Mali Uromastyx!!! They are Vegetarians, that means no crickets to get loose in the house, and no pinky mice to deal with. Easy to handle and keep tame. They come is several colors, from yellow to red and some in blue. They change colors as time and seasons change.
