im going to assume ure talking about the basilisk out of harry potter, in which case the answer is no. there is a lizard called the green basilisk, or the jesus crist lizard, so named b/c it can run so fast up on its hind legs that it can actually run on water. near as my friends and i can tell, the basilisk in the movie was based on a russian glass lizard, which is a legless lizard (but does not resemble a snake if you know what ure looking for) that gets about 5 feet long, one of which i am proud to own

No but there are baselisk lizards. Youy hay know them as the lizards who can run on water and have very long tails
