make sure all openings and cracks are sealed on the sides of your house. Check for insect problems, make sure no food is left out or gets on the floor. Their are also natural sprays to disincourage them from coming into your home.

First of all, unless the lizards are freaking out family members, they are doing a wonderful service by eating spiders, camel crickets, silver fish and other insects. It is considered a blessing in Asian countries to have a lizard around.
We keep 3 Bibron's geckos. They are nocturnal and live a long time. We are talking about 9 or more years. I very seldom see them and the cats and dogs and children cannot catch them. Lizards are the most natural way to rid your house of pests like cockroaches and mosquitoes also. I do not have problems with them getting in the closets near food either. If you want to get rid of the lizards, get rid of their food sources. That means pesticides though. I am in no way ridiculing you, only educating.

Ya dude, pissy is right keeping peacock feathers in the house does keep lizards away from house!!! It does really work & I can say this with 100% guarauntee as we ourselves also do the same thing to keep lizards away from our house. & truly there r no lizards in our house. Even if they come in the house they will get out of the house themselves after sometime. But see that u dont purposely take them out of their body or buy them from someone one who has done it purposely just pick them up when u see some peacock feathers dropped down by themselves........... Hope I have helped U!!!!!!!!!

Try to figure out where they are getting in from. check for gaps under your doors, holes in screens, ect.

If all else fails, yes, get a cat.
