I have a 46 gal tank with 5 small african cichlids, would they get along with a parrot cichlid?

Okay, my sisters' Goldfish has gone white (there's about 5 other fish, just 1 has gone white).. she recons it's something to do with being a dominent fish, I think differently.

I've read alot to do with fish being in the dark makes a fishes Pigments go white, but why has only 1 fish gone white? (not to mention the light's nearly on all the time).

Any suggestions or reason to why this has happened?
The fish tank is rather large (just below a meter long and about 1 ft. in depth and 1.5 ft. height).

hes in a 55 gal tank hes approx. 2.5 inches long he is black with white spots, has spikes on its "fins" though his fins are stiff and dont have webbing, he vibrates which makes a hissing noise, and he has killed 7 plecos that were ranging between 4-6in. but he doesn't go after my koi's or shubunkins.

I have a black molly (type of goldfish), who has been okay up until a week ago. It seems as though he can't keep himself the right way up, and is basically swimming on his back! He is eating, and although spends a lot of time resting at the bottom of his tank, does swim around! I have cleaned his tank, I even took him out of it, but he seemed to get worse. The filter is fine, and I feed him tetra fin pellets, alternated with blood worms! Can any one help me ...!

i have a 75 gallon fish tank with a good amount of plants. They are kinda turning brown and leaves are dieing off. I just replaced my light strip i got wit the set up with 2 dual coralife t-5 freshwater plant lights. But i was thinking about doing a co2 system any thoughts on that. and how hard is it to maintain the system?

just wondering, becuase after i did a water change now he hides behind a plant everytime i even come close to the bowl.

*and yes i am not cruel for putting a fish in a bowl, doin alot better than in the cup at the store*

I know Neon Tetras are good, Ramshorn Mystery Snails and African Dwarf Frogs are alright (depending on the betta's attitude), but what else is acceptable to a betta to share the tank with? Are crabs ok? Any other frogs? What about turtles?

I want to set up a quarantine/hospital tank in addition to my main 44 gallon community tank. Assuming I can use water straight out of my main tank, how long does the Q tank need to actually be up and running before it's assumed to be fully cycled? Thanks.

When my daughter turned 2, me and my husband bought ther some fish fish for her birthday. Obviously we couldnt expect her to clean out the tank, so my husband does it. Well, when we bought the fish, I was told HE was naturally fat. Few weeks later, I had baby fish swimmin around in the tank, and HE was no longer a fat fish. So I called the pet store and told them SHE had babys and I wanted to bring the babys back, they laughed at me. I had 33 to begin with, now Im down to 9. I have ginvin them away, now I dont have anybody left to give them to. I need to get rid of them, and Im not gonna flush them. My daughter dont seem to care anymore, but when I talk aout giving them away, she has a fit. So being a concerned mother, I feel we need to keep them. Our cat has already messed with the tank. My daughter (shes 3 1/2 now) would rather have the cat than the fish. Only serious responses please.

We have recently (24hrs ago) bought a small fish tank approx. 14L and attempted to set it up. We've used water conditioner, ph test kit and washed everything before it went into the tank.
We've put two hardy fish (black widows) and a small plant in there to start off with under the advice of the place we bought the set up and have fed them maybe two or three times.
PROBLEM: The water has now gone murky and were having a little trouble keeping the ph down but it keeps rising. The fish seem to have gone off their food and one looks kind of stressed (loss of colour).
Any advice? Is there other problems with the water we should be testing for? Or could it be the filter, which is a elite mini 3.1 watt filter. Is it normal for the tank to go murky in the first couple of days?

I have a 55 gallon aquarium with different kinds of fish in there. Well i have 2 convicts and they have laid eggs. Now the eggs where looking pretty good and the parents where doing their job, so i went and bought baby food and a divider for my tank. Well the day after i noticed oneof my otherafrican cichlid started (who was yellow and black striped) starting turning real black and he had white cottony looking stuff growing in spots on him, well the man told me to take him out of there right away because he was stressing out because of the eggs and the cottony stuff was fungus. So i did, and he was actually looking ok for the day. Well when i went to the pet store, i told the fish guy what happened and he recommended me Anti fungal fish remedy for the little guys so i got home and put some in his bowl and not more than 2 to 3 hours later he was on the bottom of the bowl. He ended up dying. And then today i found the same cottony stuff on the fish eggs. Please Help. i like my fish.
