the basic orange is a common/comet goldfish, these guys can be right little bullys, especially as they get bigger.
he'll potentially grow to 12-14" long and is best kept in a pond environment. whereas the black moor will grow to 8-10" and it too delicate to live in a pond, so is best in a tank.
the common can bully the moor, and as he will grow faster than the moor, his bullying can lead to the moor having damaged eyes, and damaged swimbladder which can be fatal.
if you tank is less than 30 gallons, rehome one of your goldfish.

Goldfish choose a minimum of 20 gallons each and each. So, you mustn't get 3-4 in a 10 gallon. For a 10 gallon, i might propose a school of 5 tetras and according to danger 2 or 3 guppies. many times, plecos are often skipped over by potential of very almost each and every physique, yet can improve a million-2 ft long. Crabs the two: a million. Are Saltwater or 2. choose land and 3. do not devour algae. In a 10 gallon, you should do 2 or 3 Otos, yet they at the instant are not cautioned for novices. Snails and shrimp frequently are not the terrific algae eaters.

If your basic orange one has a single tail and not the double tail like the black moor then no they are not compatible. Fancies should only go with other fancies and single tails should only go with single tails.
You say your tank isn't too small but you don't say what size it is, if it is smaller then 20 gallons it is too small and even if it is 20 gallons they can only be in there for a short time. Fancies need 10 gallons each when babies and 20+ when adults. If the one isn't a fancy then it can be in a tank for awhile (they need 20 gallons each when babies) but they are pond fish so either plan on building a pond if you don't have one or return it.

They are socializing. You say the tank isn't too small. Understand you need at least 10-15 gallons for a 3-5" semi-mature goldfish. Two goldies pretty much overload a 29 gallon tank.

No hun, they should be fine. they are both quite hardy fish.
steer clear from tiny fishes like white clouds as they tend to feel quite intimidated by a bigger fish such as a blackmoor. if you do want small fish keep them in shoals of a minimum of 4.
a nice fantail goldfish would be great in your tank!!!
take care chick x
