Yes, they do. I have seen small bubbles attached in the middle of a string of feces that actually floats the poo to the surface.

As far as I know, though, they are always SBD's.

No...I've had fish for years and never seen one fart. Labyrinth fish will blow bubbles sometimes, but that's with the mouth.

I've reared fishes for many years and I have yet to see obscene bubbles coming out of the anus.

Then again, probably.. not. Just excreta, maybe.

some has farted so hard they have blowed the water out of my fish tank. one of my gold fish farts so much i named him farty...he a gas at any party in the fish tank...

Yes, they do but only before they get caught by Youngs and made the dish of the day.
