I just bought two Oscars and I have a few questions about them. What kind of things do Oscars like in their tanks? I have a "rock" thing for them to go inside, do they like these? Also do they like plants? Should I keep the aquarium light on all the time, or do they need darkness time? Thanks for the help!

Hi! I have a very pregnant guppy that has been hiding and has visible black dots in her stomach. And I decided to put her in a breeding net within a 50 gallon tank. I am not sure how long you can keep pregnant guppies in a breeding net without them getting stressed out? Thanks!

Hi! I have a pregnant guppy and today I noticed that she had three tiny black dots that were located at her stomach. Are these tiny black dots the babies eyes? Also she has been staying near the ground and trying to hide. Is this normal?

I have just bought 2 Senegal (Dinosaur) Bichirs and 1 Dragon Goby. Along with these i have tiger barbs serpae tetras black fin sharks upside down catfish khulii loaches 2 giant danios, 4 platys 4 fairly large Lyretail Mollies a blue gourami. I wonder how this will work out as the Bichirs and Goby grow larger. I have been told that the barbs are too fast and agressive to get eaten. and the mollies are quiet large. I wonder if this will work. I have all of these in a 10 gallon tank for now, but as things grow bigger, I am going to move them into a 30 gallon tank. I wonder if the other fish will be safe.

I have these small corry catfish but today at the pet shop I saw these HUGE ones! I didn't know they could grow that big. How do they do that? I have one corry catfish that is 8 years old and he is nowhere near as big as the ones I was at the pet shop.

I would like to raise a trout, I love them. What size tank would do for 1 trout up to 14 inches or so. I am thinking of a brook trout. Is there such a thing of a tank "cooler", because the like prett cold water. Is it even legal to do this? They are a game fish where i live, washington state. I have room for a good sized tank. Thank you.

PS, im not going to eat this trout. It would be easier to go fishing if I wanted to do that

My needlenose fish usually eats dried shrimp. When she takes one, her mouth stays open slightly for about a minute until it gets into her gullet good, then it's nearly closed for another minute or two, until it goes into the stomach. Then the mouth completely closes. For the last couple of days, her mouth has stayed open like she has just eaten something, but hasn't. When we try to feed her even the smallest shrimp, she doesn't take it. What can be wrong and how can I help?

I had a black moore in a 29 gal tank with several other fish and it would always get fin rot and one day I noticed its eyes popped out. I ended up having to flush it the other day (I called the petstore and that is what they told me to do..they told me that my fish was suffering) If anyone has any info on this type of fish, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanx

Currently the betta and the algae are the only residents in the tank! I don't know how he would do if I added anybody, or if the tank is big enough really. (It's about a 1-gallon tank.)
