"...leave sleeping dogs lie?"

I'm serious!

Because, when my dogs cry or growl, as they're sleeping, it breaks my heart... thinking they maybe dreaming something that may be hurting them!

I just want to wake them to take them away from it... & let them know they are ok!!

Is this wrong??

She is a lot smaller than the other dogs. Has long untidy furr all over her, from head to tail. She has a small round nose.
I know a picture could have helped better, but I do not have one.
Does anyone know a web site that I can visit to see all the other dogs, so that I can select my type?
Thanks.

The litter of puppies are 6 weeks old & they were wormed 2 days ago. 2 of the puppies still have large stomachs & I think the worms have not passed through.Any ideas on what to do now?
I remember a vet once said give them something at time of worming like liquid paraffin. Can't be sure it was that though.

He is a 3 1/2 month old Lab mix and I heard that Pedigree puppy food (kibble) is a really good food to feed your puppy for the first year.

My 12 week old great dane pup got another set of shots today. He got one in his left shoulder and one in his right shoulder. When the doc was giving him the one in the left shoulder the pup jerked away and the needle came out and he had to stick it back in. Well I noticed a few hours after being home that the left shoulder where he got the shot is swollen. Theres a good sized little lump there, nothing crazy, but definatly noticable. Could it be that the needle hit the muscle and thats why he flinched or why its swollen? Any advice is appreciated. Thx

I have an 8 week old puppy that has fleas. I bought flea drops made for puppies and put some on her. Then I looked at the very bottom of the package and it said not to use on puppies younger than 12 weeks. Could this hurt her???

My dog's mother is a registered Toy Poodle but the father is a Yorkie-poo. Therefore, the dog is only 1/4 Yorkie. Is it still considered a Yorkie-poo?

I bought Frontline for my puppy and it did not work.I live in Thailand now and I was wondering if the bugs different here?
I dripped the Frontline on it's neck and down its back.I watched it soak in and not run out. After 15 minutes I brushed the medicine deep into its fur and 3 days later she still has fleas and ticks.I am wondering if because she sometimes plays with a filthy street dog that that dog is just too bug ridden and they keep jumping on my dog.How does frontline work?I thought it did something to the dog's blood to make the bugs stay away. What can I do to get rid of these bugs?Flea collars in Thailand don't work at all.The bugs made their home right underneath it.Help!

Ok, looking into even more, and I think I've found that the best options for dog food are, in order:
-------------------
Blue Buffalo
Science Diet (tied with:)
Canidae
All of the Natura Products go right here, but I havent looked too much into what is healthiest, though Innova and Evo peeked my interest most. I could use some input on that.
Flint River.
----------------------
So, anyone here agree/disagree with me? Think they should be rearranged, or another kind should be added? All extra info would be helpful.

My brother just adopted a 3 month old puppy. The shelter wasn't sure what he is mixed with but our guess is a golden retriever and chow. He likes to bite and chew like a normal puppy but he will also bite aggressively. There is nothing that really sets him off, he just always wants to bite, and it hurts! He has drawn blood on multiple occasions.
The vet told my brother to grab him by the nape and put his head to the ground while telling him no. That didnt work. He just got worked up and wanted to play but more aggressively than before!
He just got a choke collar as well and that has yet to help. Today he went at my brother for no reason and bit his hand.
Is there anything else he can do to help stop this puppy from biting? He is considering taking him back to the shelter but I know they will euthanize him and I don't want that to happen.
Help!

I made the mistake of training my puppy to use pee-pee pads. She uses them perfectly. The problem is that I can't get her to relieve herself outside AT ALL!!. She must think she'll be doing something wrong if she doesn't go where she's used to going. I've tried moving the pads closer and closer towards the door (didn't work), tried bringing the pad outside when I walk her (didn't work). How can I possibly turn this around?? On top of it she's a big dog - part Beagle, part pointer - 35 pounds at 7 months. So when she goes she really, really goes!! PLEASE HELP HER!!!
