I have a chiuaua he won't eat and he's weak what's wrong with him?

his gums and tounge are whiteish/blueish. he has fleas and everytime i get rid of them he goes back to where they are. should i have him put to sleep although i don't believe in that i would rather save him

First of all it's chihuahua...and second, call the vet immediately. He would probably be fine if he had medical care. I can't stress this enough: GET HIM TO THE VET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You need to get him into a vet. He's not eating, problem number one. Problem two, small dogs that aren't eating are very prone to a drop in blood sugar. If you have some Karo syrup in the house give a teaspoon or two of that, and then head to vet straight away.

His gums are indicative of a very serious problem and he needs medical care TONIGHT.

Third problem is the fleas, which can literally suck a small dog dry. You need to bomb your house, and your yard, and keep him on a preventative such as Frontline, or Advantage. Make sure the products you use on the house and yard contain an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) or you'll have fleas all over again in a week or two.

But you need to get him to a vet tonight. Don't wait, he can be treated and saved, but time is of the essence.

Oh dear. I believe that you should take your dog to the vet. I think that the fleas are causing him to be sick and maybe anemec. I would offer you a home remedy for this, but I believe that the vet is your only option. Your dog is very sick. Please don't put him to sleep. May I suggest that you have him nuetered while you are in for the flea treatment.

He needs to see a vet right away. Chihuahuas are like babies. They need to eat regularly and be kept clean. He needs some immediate supportive care.

Fronline will solve the flea problem. And he needs wormed with a fenbendazole based product. You just need to see a vet right now. I would hate to see this baby die if he could be saved.

He has severe anemia from the fleas. By the time the gums turn white/blue, they are in pretty sorry shape. If you don't get to a vet soon, he isn't going to make it.

If you don't get of your computer, and take your dog to the vet or emergency animal clinic Right Now, he will probably die. If his tongue and gums are white and blue, he's on his deathbed now. first off the fleas are sucking the blood out of dog and that s what is making your dog weak. with out blood your dog can not survive you need to take your dog to the vet or he will die!!!!!! and second because he is weak from getting the life suck out of from the fleas that's why he won't eat he has no energy his gums are pale because he is dieing!!!!!!! get him to the vet like right way to save his life.

He is dying, probably internal bleeding. He sounds uncared for and pitifull! Take him to the Humane Society and have a heart!
