My daughter (15) would like to try this with our Boxer. We know that we would need to go to a trainer, etc. But would it be a waste of money? (not the obedience part). & just for something fun for her & the dog to do.

Our 3 month old shiba inu puppy just got a puppy ziggy today. When we tried to take it away from her she became very agressive. Is there any way to prevent this behavior.

I let my dog out to her business, it's kind of late here so i didn't put her on her chain, i had her outside for about 2 min.s when she came in she had white stuff all stuck in her mouth. I asked my mom and she said she think she may have ate some anti-freeze. I was wondering if anyone knows what to do or some of the symptoms if that is indeed what has happened. I hope to have some quick responses, i can not take her to an emergency animal hospital as i live in a somewhat small town and we dont have one. Pleae help.

I have a four year old chihuahua that's always been kind of lazy. She doesn't enjoy taking walks (she would rather sit next to the blueberry bushes and smell the leaves), and she doesn't really like playing with any dog toy. So far I've had some luck with a squeaky rubber ball which I tossed around and she actually chased after, but after a couple days she got bored of it. So I bought those clear-colored Nylabones that are supposed to be chicken and liver flavored and gave them to her. She sniffed it for maybe 5 seconds?? And then she completely ignored it! How can I get her to be more active? I'm worried that i will affect her health if she just lies in the sun napping all day long. No, she is not old, as mentioned before she is only four years old and she does not have any health problems, as her vet told me. Have any suggestions to get her up and moving?

I had a chub of RAW dog food in my freezer - ground chicken w/bones, veggies, etc. My boyfriend cooked it and fed it to the dogs! I'm worried about the bone splinters. They are small (I looked at some of the cooked left-overs) but am worried.

I really can't afford a large vet bill right now but would prefer that then having something horrible happen. What should I do???

Flint River Ranch does not buy from the supplier of the suspect ingredient(s) in Canada around this problem. You'll have to take our word on that... but we don't buy from anyone in Canada and as of yet do not provide canned or pouched wet products, so this doesn't affect us.

One of the reasons that we have never had and probably will never have a problem like this is that we don't buy from small independent suppliers, jumping around to get the best price. Every ingredient is tested before we use it and buying from major producers' means that we get a better, safer product. Additionally, all of our formulas are tested every 15 minutes for standards as cooked and samples kept for 6 months. All ingredients used are bought from known producers with many years of a strong relationship between us. Chicken and grains from nationally known human-food producers equals human-grade rating and USDA protocol testing of those ingredients we buy.

We dont know what else to do. He will actually go potty right in front of us. We have tried to show him how to go outside and give him a reward after doing so. Somedays he may not do anything at all and other days he will go 4 times a day on the floor. I also heard that by putting him in his crate after he has gone on the floor will only make him spiteful? And do it again later. I just dont want to have to give him away. How can I fix him??

I have a male 4 year old labrador/alsation cross. He's always been a bit of a "boy" shall I say but some reason the past few weeks he's been too agressive for us to handle. He's had a check up at the Vets about a month ago and is in good health.
We're looking at getting him neutured to see if that will calm him down but at 4 years old is he too old and are there more risks involved?
