My Golden Retriever has hip problems and gets siezures from time to time. I'm just wondering if this is normal for most Golden Retirevers, or even big dogs in general. I've been told that it was but I have also been told the contrary. So, just wondering. Oh, and if you thought this was a good question that related to your dog, please star it. This is my first question and I'm trying to get some points for Level 2.

I have had a male bichon for a year now. I don't have any papers or his medical records. Does he still need shots or any other proceedures? He is, I think, around 3 or 4 years old.

she is a pom and she will not eat her own food. And I just can't help looking at those sad puppy eyes at dinner time when we all are eating. And with all this dog food stuff going on Iam not sure I want to go and buy diffrent food for her. I don't want to be hurting her by giving her food that might not be good for her.

I have a 16 year dog(mixed breed) and she is on her last days, I suppose.

She has a lot of problems walking, where her toes curl inwards when she tries to walk. She drinks a lot of water, will drink about a bowl of milk and water + glucose sugar. She refuses alll food except chicken liver ( she eats about 1 pack per day)
Yesterday she was looking better, she was wagging her tail at everyone and look real happy with the attention.
But today she couldn't get up and ended up defacating on herself. She still eats and drinks( only outta my hand though).

She's not in any pain( well from what I can tell). Should I go and get her put down or should I let her die naturally? Every morning I expect to see her dead, but instead She lifts her head and give me a wagging Good morning.
I just dont know what to do, either way it breaks my heart.

The dog will be left on its own 9 till 5 each day. I want a dog that can sleep when your not there and amuse it slef when im not there, but when im back i want it to be lively with me and enjoy my compeny and i can take it for walks in the park and take it to the beach and stuff like that, But i have herd that if your out all day that you should get 2 dogs, which could be better for its life style.
And im looking for an older dog around 2 years and above, not a puppy as i do understand that would be cruel.
And i would rather not have any sarcastic sugesstions.
Thank.You
