I live in Arizona. In the winter, my female Queensland Heeler sleeps in a crate in my mother's bedroom, and the other two dogs sleep outside, but not much, because they guard the place. In the summer, both Queensland Heelers come in for most of the day and sleep in air conditioning, but I can't get the stray I took in to come into the house, so she sleeps under the porch. At night, all three are out and on patrol.

I have 3 big dogs and 6 cats and they all sleep with me. Guess I should say they let me sleep with them...I used to have a regular double bed but every morning I'd wake up squished and bent and twisted between critters, so I had to go out and get a king size so there'd be room for us all. Nice and warm in the winter but sometimes in the summer, I'm tempted to sleep in the guest room...;-)

I have 2 rat terriers. One sleeps in my parents room in his bed with his blankets, sometimes ends up on the bed or out in the living room on the couch. The other one sleeps with me in my bedroom on my bed. He curls up under the comforter on the end up my bed. He has his own bed too but he wouldn't stay there anyway. Besides I'd rather have him right next to me.

Two of my French Bulldogs sleep in bed with me, the other two Frenchies sleep in an exercise pen together in my bedroom, and the Bernese Mountain Dog and Belgian Malinois sleep in the living room.

I can only have one dog in my room at a time. It's just not good to have three dogs in my room at the same time. I have a doggy bed for them to sleep on and have them take turns. My bed is a no-no! I once got ringworm from one of them when they slept in my bed. Other than my room they sleep outside.

Paddy, the baby, usually goes to her kennel but ends up on the foot of the bed at some point. Squirt, the older boy, generally sleeps on the floor on my side of the bed.

All 3 of mine sleep in our room at night, on their beds. One of them (weimaraner) actually sleeps at the end of the bed, under the covers all night long. Strange.
