I have huskies and they have the ability to bark but only if it is deemed necessary. They are very intelligent. Siberians are rated as 3rd smartest dog in the world. They use many forms of communication, it happens so fast, most people miss it. They are tacticians and have the ability to think things through. They are pack dogs and are very different to the average domestic k9. An incredible mind set and the will power to make it happen. They are also a breed in their own right. They can look like wolves and even behave like them. Get on the net and read up about them, it will help to understand them better. A lot of people have them, and are very proud of their huskies, talk to them, It helps.

I have a siberian husky as well the best dog i could ever ask for but they definitely are not for everyone. My husky can bark as well but only when he wants to eat something and he cant get to it. Its a very rare occurance although he mostly howls and talks to us more than anything.

Most dogs that people are used to are bred, at least partially, to be a watch dog. This means barking. The Husky is bred to be a sled dog, that means pulling/running. Barking is simply a waste of breath to them! Not to mention they have very easy going personalities.
This doesn't mean they never bark (I had a husky), they just rarely bark. Some of them rarely enough that you'd think they can't bark! They do love to howl though...

I don't know where your getting your dog info but Huskies can and do bark. You may have one that for some reason chooses not to bark. I have a Yorkie and only heard her bark at the breeders when she was in a little play pen with her sister and wanted out. She has never barked since.

I own a Husky. She does bark, but rarely, and only when someone gets too close for comfort that she doesnt know. She "talks" most of the time when she sees something moving and howls as well.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/am6Cw
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

Huskies can, and do, bark. The only breed of dog that doesn't bark is the Basenji. This breed does make sounds, but not barking.

Dog training are excellent and very helpful to build you a stronger relationship with your dog. Read more https://tinyurl.im/Z83pW
After I started training my dog, he became very attached to me and loves to stay by side as long as he can. But just going to them won't help. You have to practice what they teach you outside of the class and you need to keep up with it at least every now and then after the class ends otherwise they'll just go back to previous habits. This course is a really good place to go for dog obedience classes. It get's your dog around other people and dogs to socialize while getting the training you need. As for electric collars, I would say to not get one. In my experience, they're only a negative effect on your dog. I mean of course you're going to need to correct your dog, but being positive and encouraging your dog works a lot faster and easier.
Every dog is different, so unless you have a german shepherd or a really smart dog, it might take a while to train her. You might get frustrated with her, but go easy. She's still a puppy and has a lot of energy. A backyard or somewhere to run will help her get rid of a lot of energy that might cause her to misbehave from boredom.
