I'm looking after a dog & she's been really good, she's pretty old, & when she see's anyone through the window or postman calls she barks like mad, but today for no reason I can think of?? she has become really scared for no apparent reason I've been with her all day, she's just been sat by the front door & all of a sudden she is trembling & gone right under the chair I'm sitting on...I've had a look to see what see's scared of & looked about but nothing..know she's upstairs in the bathroom & won't come down...the shakes are pretty bad,is she missing her owner?? any suggestions? theres been no load bangs or anything..?

I have always liked Pomeranians and I live in a small apartment. I have done homework on Poms but I think it'd be best to hear from actual owner experience. How are Pomeranians as far as temperament, behavior, and care goes? Would you recommend them as good pets? What are some advantages/disadvantages of their breed?

You see there are a lot of frogs in my garden, some of which are poisonous. I have 2 Golden retrievers, 1 of which loves catching frogs. It was poisoned b4 by one, it kinda had a seizure, with a frothy mouth and sweat all over, but it survived.
No they can not stay in the house because they fill it up with fur and my parents don't want that they want our house clean and besides, my dad hates dogs.. Don't worry our garden is big enough, it could fit 15 dogs and there is also a hefty space with shade.

So anyway. What if i catch a frog and pour a lot of hot sauce over it, i knowdogs hate hot sauce, and then give it to my dog.. What would happen. If i do this regularly, will my dog eventually stop catching frogs? What do you think

I just adopted a La-Chon (half bichon frise and have lhasa apso), and I am considering doggy day care while I'm at work instead of caging her. Is it a good idea? This is my first dog in 15 years and my first puppy in 27 years! I have kind of forgotten what to do!

I have just got an Alsation ***** that is nearly two and has come from a home with other dogs to now being on her own. If she is off the lead she will run at other dogs and will bark and growl (but does not attack) Apart from keeping her on the lead how can I stop this?
