get an old fashioned wind up clock and wrap it in a blanket to put in his bed or where ever he is comfortable. It simulates the mother's heart beat and will make the transition easier for him.

Animals like human beings have a sort of personalities. It seems such as you have a shy timid domestic dog on your palms and you will could desire to attend and notice and loving so as that your canines comes around. This canines will in all probability by no potential take properly to strangers or different animals he will prefer consistent reassurance and interest. in case you're sort and easy-weight you will in all probability have an extremely honest pal in case you won't be able to deal with the neediness it is in all probability to stick to or you're finding for the outgoing character you and the domestic dog could by no potential bond yet once you picked him simply by fact there replaced into something approximately him that called to you issues would be purely advantageous. Socialize him carry him for now and he will learn how to apply the leash, make specific you introduce him to persons and animals slowly and relax he would be advantageous.

Give him attention. Play with him, cuddle with him, take him on walks. He'll probably cry and be depressed for a few days, but puppies are resilient like that. He'll come around. If the depression seems to be dragging on, talk to your vet the next time you take him to get shots or examined. He might have some other ideas.

It will take him a while to get used to being away from his mother and siblings. Only time will take complete care of this. However you can make it much easier on him by constantly giving him affection. Best of Luck!!

first give him lots of love and attention, while doing that keep in mind you are the master not him or he will make you the pet. spoiling him is find if done right. play with him love him and train him then you both will end up much happier in the end. do not feed him people food even tho you feel bad for him it will kill him in the end . puppy food is best to start with then move to dog food cause puppy food is to fat-ting for grown dogs .get more details from your vet. i hope this help a little but he will become acustom to his new home in a few days.

Walks are a good idea if hes big enough to go one one but t you'll have to teach him first how to walk on a leash and for now it will be just to much for him to take, plus he's new to you and you to him so dont expect much he's still young for that. Give him time and let him get to know you and he'll come around in a few days.

Every pup that goes home for the first time is in the same boat that your puppy is in. He is in a place that he doesn't yet understand is his new home. He is with people he doesn't yet understand is his new family. He just needs time to get used to his new environment. Be patient.

Puppies will miss t6heir mommies at first, and one way to help them get over it is to get an old alarm clock. the wind-up type that has a loud "Tick-Tock", and wrap it in a towel or some such, and the pup will snuggle right up to it and sleep happily all night.

In addition to nd721's advice a heating pad set on LOW. Also put him in a small sleeping area and take him out FIRST thing in the morning. Most dogs will not go where they sleep and it makes house breaking easier.
