We are thinking of names for our new girl weimaraner...any ideas...we don't want something everyone else has.
so far... we like...Jersey, Malibu, Isabelle (izzy), Riley, Harley, Callie, and Sadie. which is your fav.? or any other ones

Well Riley and Callie are names that a lot of people have named their pets. Especially Callie. I like Isabelle. Chloe is a good name too.

DONT FORGET U NEED A NAME U CAN CALL OUT IN PUBLIC!!... so single syllable names or shortened versions are best.
My dogs are called (full & short'nd).... ELKA (Ka) - ROXY (Rox) - HERRA-LEA (Lea)
I like the names .....STORM - VIZ - ROOL or just Roo - TYRUSKA (True)
The names u have mentioned are great but do u think a couple maybe 'too small' for such a big dog? I think the rarer the better!

I guess whichever name had meaning to you or has a story behind it. One of my favorite dog names is Ezra. When I asked the owner why she named her dog Ezra, she replied, "Because I got him at the Pound." We named our dog Nugget because he was all white except for this little patch of golden brown on his back, like a gold nugget. Get to know your dog for a couple of days and see if any quirks or personality traits begin showing.
Out of the names you have, Sadie is my favorite.
