As well as the kennel club you can try the following website
www.breedersonline.co.uk
of course you need to ensure that the breeder is genuine but they do have puppies that the kennel club don't alway know about. I found my Akita puppy there and once I checked that the breeder was known to the KC and all the correct health checks had been carried out I was more than happy.
There is also another site
http://www.pedigreesearch.co.uk/
breeders seem to use this site also. It's also worth doing a search for breeders websites in your area as they may just advertise the odd puppy or you can register for an upcoming litter.

Along with the Kennel Club Puppy Register there are some other places that you can try to search :
http://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/item/436
Like the Champdogs site (another source of details of breeders of KC Registered puppies) :
http://www.champdogs.co.uk/guided/all_cavalier-king-charles-spaniel.html
This site also has a list of clubs - you may wish to contact one to see if they have a list of respected breeders in your area.
Plus there's the Pets 4 Homes website & the ePupz site (though not all the puppies advertised on here may be KC registered or even pure-bred) On both these sites you can search by area - though you have to register to get the contact details from ePupz (free for ads over five days - one off fee of £4.99 for newer ads):
http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/pets4homes/home.nsf/PV?SearchView&Query=(FIELD%20TypeTX=Dogs)%20%20AND%20(FIELD%20BreedTX=Cavalier%20King%20Charles%20Spaniel)%20&start=1&count=10&SearchOrder=3&ExactMatch=True&SearchWV=FALSE&SearchFuzzy=FALSE&SearchMax=250
http://www.epupz.co.uk/search/puppies_for_sale.asp?breed=Cavalier+K+C+Spaniel+&area=all&st=1&Submit=Search+++
Hope these links help

If you are looking to buy a King Charles Cavalier, I must mention that this breed is liable to heart problems when it is about 7 years old. It is an hereditary thing like all breeds. Alsations lose the use of their back legs with age, Labradors suffer with Athritis, and so on.

You might find this site useful before buying a puppy - make sure you only by a puppy from a reputable breeder who carries out all the necessary health checks before breeding.
