Which dog out of all dogs can protect anyone the most as in which is the most strongest kind of dog?

Hi guys i would like to know if German Shepherds are great guard dogs because i have a female puppy who is currently at the vet because she has jaundice and she is there hopefully recovering. Anyway i want a guard dog that would bark at all strangers and make them afraid and also if any theives try to steal that the gsd would actually attack them in defense of me and my home.Would the german shepherd do what i said above. Please answer asap and say a prayer for my puppy please.

I would like to know if it should be warm outside in order for me to let my dog go swimming in the lake behind our house. My dad says it doesn't matter because dogs have a thick fur coat for it, the dog is a Golden Retriever.

i have a 3 year old male shih tzu.sometimes he can be very aggressive.one minute he can be very lovable the next he will be very aggressive.sometimes i will go to stroke him and he will go to attack me.
someone told me to have him neutered as it may calm him down.is this true?would you reccommend it.
how much will it cost?
please help as im at the end of my tether and i dont want to get rid of him as i love him.i dont know what else to do.

He is a mix, I'm guessing terrier. Since he was found on the street, I know nothing about his background. He does like to sleep, and seems a typical chi. in most ways.

She stays in the house, is trained to stay in the yard and has never strayed away. We don't know if she was stolen and was finding her way back home, but was found almost two weeks after her disappearance about a mile away from home. We aren't sure, but she may have been in heat. Also are there any particular complications to be worried about because of her age if she is pregnant?

All right, we might get a house dog. Now I want a Daushound because I jus think they're the cutest dog in the world! But my mom's friend (a vet tech) said that a lot of them can be little snots. But I disagree.

So were wondering what is the best kind of little house dog to have that is kid friendly, cute, loves to get dressed in clothes, and loves car rides. And if Daushound is a good dog just tell me about maybe a certain kind and what they do and stuff.

He has a little mucus.. coming out of his nose.. and my brother said that dogs who had that.. are going to die.. so im not sure.. he breathes like if his nose was stuffed..like a weezing sound sort of when i carry him.. other than taking him to the vet.. wich i cant at the moment.. what should i do?

Yesterday, I bought my mom and dad an Mini American husky/Pom... he's soooo tiny!! My mom said "toughy" slept from about midnight until 3:00am ... then cried, loudy, and woke my dad up ... then refused to go back to sleep or stop crying ... he want to get up and play (and probably missed his mom).

What can my mom do ... so she can get some sleep, and comfort Toughy. I told her she HAS to let him cry, otherwise, she'll be up with him every night. She hates to hear him cry. Is there anything else she can do?

We have a 3 year old female shiba inu. She is a great dog and we have no problems with her in our neigborhood. She's outgoing and friendly with our neighbors and their dogs. The problem is when we take her out of her familiar surroundings she gets very nervous and shy. How can we help her get over her fears?

i am looking for a horse that is between 14hh and 15.3hh. any breed is fine but i really like arabs and have owned several arab x chesnuts. a knowledgeable loving home awaiting!! please please please get in contact if you have one or know of one!
