He is a mix, I'm guessing terrier. Since he was found on the street, I know nothing about his background. He does like to sleep, and seems a typical chi. in most ways.

My boston terrier acts like she is dead whenever she is in the water bed she gives me a heart attack all of the time. She streches out under the blankets and won't move for anything, I can call her name, poke her, push her with my feet, she doesn't even flinch. In the morning I have to carry her to the door because she will not get out of the bed. After that she is a big ball of energy and terrorizes the apartment for the rest of the day. So I don't know if it is normal behavior but my dog does it too.

Well, do you like to get woke up in the middle of the night? And anyway, why would you even wake a dog up in the middle of the night in the first place? I've never heard of such a thing.
