It's safe because it is formulated for dogs unlike regular ice cream. Just don't make a habit of giving too many treats.

I thought it was called "Frosty Paws?" yeah, I have seen it and its back there with all the dog food in the supermarket. I saw it in a cute little freezer built in to a shelf. I just had to buy some! I have fed my dogs this for years. I have never had any problems with it, and they love it! Especially after a long walk in the summer or any time its hot for that matter! I have seen original and Peanut Butter flavor, my dogs favorite! ;) But an obvious thing not to do is give a bunch to your dog. One once in a while as a rare treat would be best.
Here is a description taken directly from a site:
Dairy products are often difficult to digest, and can upset your dog's stomach. Frosty Paws was developed as a healthy replacement for ice cream. It is a nutritious frozen treat that is fortified with protein, vitamins and minerals dogs need for good health. It has no added sodium, sugar, artificial flavors or artificial colors. And dogs love Frosty Paws because it's cold, delicious and refreshing!

I do believe that "Puppy Paws Ice Cream for Dogs" is made especially for dogs so there is no harmful ingredients in it. The only thing that can really harm a dog is chocolate, if the ice cream was chocolate flavored they most likely used carob or some other chocolate replacement. I'm sure your dog will be fine.

We give out Frosty Paws ice cream in our dog kennel. The dogs all love it and we've never had any problems besides diarrhea with some, which is understandable.

No it is not harmful for dogs as it was made for them.
But keep in mind it is a treat. Sort of like doggie junk food.
It is fine as a treat but not given all the time.
Think of it as desert for dogs.

It's not what I would consider "high quality" but I checked out the label before I bought it and figured we'll try it. I does contain animal fat, which means that they don't know which kind of animal and therefore I would rank it among cheap treats from the grocery store. Monitor your dog to see if he gets a resulting diarreah and than you determine whether or not to give them.

Not really, it's extremely high in fat and if given should only be
once a week. I personally wouldn't give them to my 3 dogs.
