i need help my little dog have eaten some chocolate will that cause him any harm, what should i do now.........

Don't panic. Chocolate isn't very good for dogs, but it won't kill him or do him any major harm. My mum's dog has eaten a whole box of chocolates before now (bad dog!) and has always been ok - you may find he gets an upset tummy, but that should be all the damage you find. Just try to stop him doing it again!

vets say that chocolate will cause harm but not in all circumstances especially if it was just a little bit my small dog loves to have a nibble of chocolate every now and then

depends on how much chocolate he ate. If it was a significant amount then call your vet if it was just a tiny bite then don't worry my dog has eaten a little of chocolate before and she was fine. Good Luck hope everthing works out!

I had a boxer who ate chocolate all the time. We didn't usually give her any, but she took a whole box of fannie mae trinadads off the headboard of the bed and ate a whole pound. Once she got a 2 lb bag of m&m peanuts and ate those. She never got sick, she was addicted to chocolate and would come whenever anyone had any. I wouldn't worry too much, just watch her and if she gets sick call the vet.

You need to know the weight of the dog and the amount of
chocolate and the type of chocolate ( percentage or actual
amount of cocoa )...
Call a vet, he will know the amount that will be deadly...

Chocolate is a potential poison for dogs. They can die, but hopefully yours didnt eat enough.
Dogs do like the flavor though, so in the future try getting him some carob. It tastes like chocolate, but it wont hurt him.

Depends was it a lot or just a nibble? .. most young dogs should be okay with it. The stuff in it just makes their heart beat faster for awhile. In an old dog it could kill them. But if you have a vet you might give them a call.

Call your vet or emergency clinic, they will want to know how much and what kind, so have the information available. Chocolate is bad for dogs, so please make the call!!!!!

it wont hurt him unless he eats chocolate often, dont worry if its only a bit of chocolate but dont let him eat any more

hey! its ok as long as it was not a lot! If it was an excessive amount I would say to go to the vet soon.
