Her displaysia is being treated with Omega3/Omega6 Fish Oil and Glucosamine given with food daily. We feed her twice a day. She generally throws up in the middle of the night. There is little to no undigested food in the vomit, but lots of grass, hair and a small amount of bile. Our vet hasn't been much help. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

His energy level is good and he's peeing as much as he usually does. There's no change in temperament and no sign of discharge. He was fixed years ago. He's eating as voraciously as always. His urine is the normal colour and he doesn't seem to be having difficulty peeing. It's been going on for 3 days now, and he gets 4 or 5 walks a day.

I feel like my dogs are looking at me and thinking "NO! Stay here! Don't go!"

Do you think that's what they're thinking or am just projecting 'cause I don't want to leave them?

(they're probably thinking "yay! par-tay!") :)

My male dog is always hyperactive take him on long walks still jumps around when we get in, only feed him twice a day...the only reason im getting annoyed is him jumping about all the time he's like flipping tigger bouncing of doors, banging into me and my partner and he is a huge dog , i couldn't trust him with a small child he wouldnt bite it would be the fact he would be too hyper and knock them down with out realising ....

Why get a dog if you are going to Ditch the poor thing outside??
One of my dogs weighs only 3 lbs and a human baby would survive longer than my pooch would outside.
And my other dog is a Doberman and he would not last any longer.

I don't care what breed ...Dogs should never be abandoned outside in the cold .Dogs are pack animals and they need to be with their pack....Its owner/parent.

He is almost 4 and eats a regular diet of Pro Plan dog food and Eukanuba Biscuits and the occasional Pedigree Busy Bone/Big Chew. He does get people food, but its usually either cheerios, or whatever meat we are eating with dinner with the majority of the spices washed off. He has thrown up mostly in the am and it is a yellow frothy substance. I'm worried :( I am going to call my vet, but hope someone else may know why this is happening.

ok so my mom just called me and she said that the lady she works 4 just got a new chihuahua puppy!! the thing is the lady isnt very good at keeping pets for example she had a bird, cat, golden retriever, and a hampster that she got at one point and wasnt able to keep any of them cauz she stinks with animals and I have adopted them all so she wouldn't send them 2 the pound. So anyway the new puppy we are guessing will only last at her house a couple of months be4 she cant handle it anymore and she will most likly give it 2 us. AND I LOVE CHIHUAHUAS AND HAVE ALWAYS WANTED ONE!!!!!! ok so this is kinda weird 2 ask but would anyone who read this if you r religous pray that i get it. Or even if yr not pray that i get it!!! :) thnxs!!

I overheard my neighbor crying and screaming about her lost dog.And I went outside to help, But when i got outside she was gone.
I live in a Condo so It took me a couple of minutes to reach where she was.
10 HOURS LATER.
25 min ago My two dogs went to the balcony's sliding glass door indicating something was wrong.I went on to the balcony and saw neighbors lost dog standing in the middle of the garden and shaking.
So Now he is safe and warming up in front of the fire place
My Question is this poor dog has been out in Snowy -12 degree Celsius,10.4 degree Fahrenheit, for 10+ hrs any longer would = death.
This woman has hardly made a effort to find him and to add to that she is actually sleeping .......How could you sleep knowing your innocent and helpless dog was missing.I WOULD NEVER SLEEP TILL I MADE A COUPLE OF ALL NITER'S LOOKING FOR MY DOG.Just like a parent of a lost/missing child would.

I have a 6 month old cavalier king charles spaniel and his eating habits have become very bad. He is afraid of his bowl, he eats only one time a day and not very much and has to be coxed to eat. he grabs his food and runs and eat and then comes back. he is healthy otherwise, used to eat pretty good but now refuses to eat and we have to practically beg him to eat. what is wrong, we have changed foods and bowls and even put the food on a mat for him to eat but he barely eats. How can we get him to eat normal again and what could be wrong to cause him to act this way suddenly? Please help. No smart *** remarks please, this has me and my husband worried. Any vets out there, we would appreciate your help as well. Thanks. Hunters Mom.

I adopted a rescue dog 18 months ago. He's a mongrel and came from a nasty background of alcohollic adults. At the start he was aggressive and antisocial, but somehow with patience I was able to get rid of the bad traits and simply learned that there are some people and situations he doesn't like to be around so keep him out of trouble by avoiding them if necessary. Recently I left him for 5 days with my friends (who he adores and knows well). Everything was ok until they had visitors (whom my dog had met the day before on their own territory, with their own dog), when he suddenly launched himself at one person's ankle and bit them badly, all for no apparent reason but as I wasn't there I can't say. Now my dog is under 21 day observation with the vet (we go every 5 days for a checkup), who knows how hard I've worked with the dog and what progress we've made together. Does anyone have any suggestions how I can teach my dog to trust more when left with someone? He's clearly territorial.

She loves to hunt them in Hyde Park. She kills them but doesnt break the skin to make them bleed, she just breaks the neck or crushes the skull. Can a rat disease be transferred to a dog, and could it be transferred to me?

I have two dogs, one boxer mix and one pug, they both are about year and half old. I have the pug first and they have been living together since they were puppy. The boxer is a very sweet dog, he obeys better than the pug and never aggressive towards human. The boxer and the pug are best friends, they play, eat, and sleep together; however, he does attack the pug once in a while for no reason. Everytime when he attacks, I do notice that he will give the pug "a look" and a second after, he will attack. This behavior happen very sudden, it could happen 2 times a month or once in 2 or 3 months. The boxer never really hurt the pug too much, never draw any blood until last night when I was playing with the computer, my boxer attack the pug. I checked my pug soon after and my pug has 2 very small cuts on his ear, 1 on his face, and 1 on his forehead. They aren't serious but did bleed a little. I am concern about the boxer sudden behavior and not sure if that can be fixed. Any opinion?
