if he is truly stuck under there, you will have to take the bed mattress off the bed to get him out, and to prevent this happening again, may i suggest going to the hardware store and getting some bed risers, this will raise your bed a couple of inches so he will still be able to get under there and get out by himself.( wouldn't want him stuck under there all day if nobody was around to help him get out)... and please do get him on a proper diet to manage his weight... have a great day!

If the dog got under there he can get out.I bet he is enjoying watching you all go through the antics you are though. I once thought I had a dog stuck under my porch and did everything I could to get him out. I then called the vet and he asked if the dog was attached to anything under there or if he was just under there free. When I said he was free he said to leave him alone. That once he wasn't receiving all this attention and was ready he would come out and he did. Same thing happened with a kitten who was used to running through the tunnels in the pool table at the local bar chasing the balls. They thought as he had grown and appeared to be stuck that he was as well but he came out when ready.

lift the bed and put him on a low fat diet. Block off the bed so that he can not get under until he is skinny again.

By the way my Beagle does that same thing too.
