Never treat a dogs eyes with any meds the vet doesn't prescribe.Keep the eye and surrounding areas clean with a warm wet wash cloth. Wash your hands well also,as it may be "pink eye" which is contageous to both animals and humans. Although its not a serious condition,it isn't any fun for either to have.

Keep wiping them with a warm wash cloth or you can clean them with a little bit of Saline Solution to at least keep the gunk from building up in her eyes until you can get her to the vet.

Go to the petstore and buy some Opticlear. Its just a saline solution that you can rinse her eyes out and wipe the gunk off. It wont treat anything, but it will clean her up. Or you could use warm water and a papertowel to wipe the gunk off.

Please dont use any human drops or ointments! Boil some water and let it cool. Soak a cotton ball in the water and gently wash the eyelids, do not touch the eye ball, the cotton will only scratch it. Do this several times a day until you can get her to the vets. Dry the water of with a dry cotton ball in a dapping motion.
Do not use the cotton balls again, throw them out!
If the eyes get more inflamed and you feel it's worse get her to an emergence vet.

you should 1st get a paper towel, wet it(damp), and then wipe her eyes, or use a paper towel and put that clear white eyes stuff on her eyes, and wipe them gently.
