We have stopped the baying inside the house but outside she goes to town, at the neighbours squirrels whatever. Any beagle owners and how do they stop their beagle from baying all the time? I know not all beagles bay. Mine sure does. I read up on Bark Busters which is a company that comes to your house and assesses your dog and gives you methods to curb the howling. Has anyone tried this? Anyways beagle lovers help!!!!She is not bored. She goes outside for fresh air and to do her business. She gets walked. We dont leave her outside endlessly. Its as soon as she goes outside. She goes to the fence and bays (howls? So beagle owners help please.

Please can any body tell me what at ae the signs if a puppy died of electric shook? My maid said that my barsiek 2 weeks old pupyy died of electric shook which i dont beleive , i think she killed her accidentally cus she said that she wasnt apple to work for me affer she told me what happened i could ask her enoung question s cuz my mom let the maid go before i come home . Please tell me waht are the signs would be seen in my barciek body if she died of it? I am in so much pain & i blaim my self.

In all i had 4 dogs, one died of old age about 2 yrs back. We were left with a family mum, dad, and baby. Honey, sunny, and sweety. Last year my honey sufferred a stroke and since then she had become a vegetable she was at our mercy for all her needs including nature's calls. we were in fact stalling her putting down. then suddenly last june my sunny developed a lump for which he was being treated, but it galloped at a fast pace and turned out to be nasal cancer. the poor baby was emiting blood from his mouth and nose, had difficulty breathing, eating, and sleeping. The vet asked to make this dreadful decision for the animal's benefit he was 8. on jan 19 the blackest day in my life's history we put both honey and sunny down since they were truly doting on each other and since my honey too was an invalid and almost 18 now. but i just could not get over the guilt it is past one month but i m ubale to find a purpose for my survival. I feel i have cheated on my babies who trusted me. pl.hl

My dog just died this FEB.23 if I buy a new 1 will it be bad??? bcoz I miss my dear Butter he was only 4 mon. old I can forget the times when he used to lick my face and even teeth on me and what did he do wrong and what did he do to deserve it he was the best dog I ever had when my mom broght him to the vet they just said he had a weak heart and they buried him when I was at school which stinks and I am also making this for his sister Biscuit who died too... but I dont own her she was with my cousin and I fell so very sad bcoz I wasnt there when they buried him and wasnt able to say goodbye and I realy wanna cry but too bad I ran out of tears even for other reasons I cannot cry what do I do shoud I get a new one or will it be bad its too sad and a bcoz he had a weak heart he died in his sleep so plz ans...

She is 1/2 pomeranian 1/2 chihuahua. She is small but the male I want to breed her to is a VERY fine boned chihuahua and very tiny as well. I know that it is unsafe to a)never breed them and b) leave them entire or unspayed. I know I want to have her babies one day but she is about 1.5 years old. When is the right time and what can I do to be sure she will be okay?

i know i have a spirit in my home and have known this b4 i get my dog 4 months a go but the ghost become more "active" whn i got my dog....
i have seen my dogs toys fly across the room while my dog is sitting next 2 me( my dog sees it 2) my dog jumps up and starts playing with the toys...
but some times he will start barking at nothing, and the other night i was just relaxing and thinkin of goin 2 bed when i look at my dog looking at me, thn he look next 2 me, thn at me again, and next 2 me thn started growling... no1 else was in the room but me...
he does things like this all the time....
the spirit has never tried 2 harm me (that i know of)
and if it was a bad spirit y would my dog play with it sometimes and grow n bark at it other times???
whats the go??

i used to have akitas and would really like to get a new pup....i almost bought one from a guy in missouri, he told me they had 6 females and that i'd be able to get one anytime and he would ship but i read that there are alot of puppy mills in missouri, so decided against it (the line about the 6 females being the deciding factor).......I live in wisconsin and i dont know where to find a good breeder, but i really cant afford a 1000 dollar pup.....can someone help me?

i have had my dog for about 4 months now and he is now 6months...
at first we would let him sleep with us , thn we got a bed about 2/3months ago for him and he was fine and loved sleeping in it...
but for the last 3/4 nights he has been sneeking up and sleeping with us in our bed??? y could this be???
i have been sick with the flu/cold, could this b y???
also if i put him back on his bed he will get on my bed after about a min or so??
whts the prob??

I have notice my little dog has been biteing and itching at his skin and we have gave him a bath in flea and tick shampoo hes still itching and i have been waking up with little blood marks on my face and notice one or two on my daughters legs what do you think this could be please help.....

Where i live is a trashy Neighborhood (we would leave, but we were hear years before them with ACRAGE!)
And no one has fences except me! and when ever i walk my dobe, a mean dog will come up to us and my dog tears a chuck out of him and the owners and me get into a fight bc their stupid unrestrained white trash dog comes up to ME ( i always win), and tries to attack me, and then my RESTARINED dobe with a choke chian, and LEASH, attacks it to protect me, and the dog gets tore up really bad, but its not like i go around to make my dog attack all these dogs bc im not. And im not going to stop walking my dog bc they cant control their dog, but what i wanted to know what what could i do to keep them away from us.
any ideas? becuase he is a sweet dobe, and hes only protecting me. when other nonviolent dogs come up to us like little ones, he plays with them, but since the ones close by to me are abused neglected, unsocialized& mean, and my Dog can tell when theres danger and reacts.

yesterday my dog was fine and then today he suddenly wouldnt eat or drink anything he was really off balance and didnt want to move his mouth was really cold tried to spoon water but he still wouldnt drink gave him a nice warm bath and dried him with the blow dryer layed him in front of the fire place covered him up rubbed him checked on him about an hour later and he had passed away then i had noticed that blood had come out of his rectum hes always been really playful and active he was 6 yrs old does anyone think this could have been poisoned related?

i just got my puppy roco 2 days ago well today i took him out side to go potty and he has the runs he has been dewormed and had his first 2 sets of shots im wondering if maybe the water change is what is causeing it sence the breeder has well water and we have city water anyone ever hear of this? i have him on the same food the breeder did eucanuba (bad spelling i know) small breed puppy but he hasnt eating a whole lot sence he came home he nibbles is this normal or does he need to be seen?

For a couple of days now I have noticed that my dog goes into little head shaking fits from side to side. Nothing like when he comes out of the water, it looks like he has palsy or something. I know he is allergic to a lot of things, but he has never done this. Anyone have any suggestions? Vet is getting called tomorrow.

My dog is a 2 1/2 year old choc. lab and was sneezing a lot over the weekend with an occassional what sounded like he was trying to breathe out of his nose all of a sudden when he is just lieing there. I took him to the docs and they said he looks fine to try Benadryl Allergy. He has only had one dose but is still making that sound. We live in FL and not sure if it's the warmer weather we are experiencing but he has never had this problem before. Has anyone ever experienced this with their pet? Thanks!

i have an 80 pound american bulldog. i have tried every kind of harness at petsmart and pet co. they all make her underarms bleed. she is all white and has very sensitive skin. when i was at the beach i saw another dog like her with a harness on that had sheepskin under the arms. does anyone know where i can find something like this?
